Lets face it Geometric pattern design is not for everyone. But one geometric pattern is really making waves. The Honeycomb Hexagon design is a clean, repetitive geometric design. The uses are endless of this design use it on wallpaper, upholstery, throws or scatter cushion.

The Far East. Influences can be seen in fabrics and colours. Embellished cloths gives for warm textures of fine thread work with metal, silver and gold thread worked into material. This is called Zardozi and is used on the runways as well as seen on the Gucci garments. They definitely have an influence on the design of interior spaces this season.

Forever Blue. For the people who love Blue this colour is staying with us for another season. Influenced by Chinese embroidery method of White on Blue and the other way around. Any shade of Blue is beautiful and calming. The colour Blue is a primary colour but his friend Green on the tertiary side is also making its way to the fashion industry but in a jade Green. These to colours do compliment each other and also work well alone.

Floral garden. Island happiness. Large floral and garden prints are at an all time high. Leaves in lavish island Greens and bold beautiful flower pattern can be seen on the runways as well as home designer magazines and fabrics. Hues of pink, reds and fruity colours are used on dark deep luxurious back grounds. Fresh start to a new day is the feeling of the Island vibe going around in the design world. If you are scared of colour in your home you better get yourself ready for a bold bright season. Use them in scatters cushions, throws, wallpaper and rugs.
